Workshop Operative – Drogheda

Location: Drogheda, Co. Louth
Pay: €16.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm
Job Type: Full-time

Flexistaff is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Workshop Operative to join a busy workshop and manufacturing environment in Drogheda.

This Workshop Operative position would suit someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable working as part of a busy production team.

Key Duties

• Assisting with general workshop and production duties
• Handling and moving materials within the workshop
• Supporting the preparation and manufacture of products
• Using hand and power tools where required
• Assisting skilled team members with day-to-day workshop tasks
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Following health and safety procedures
• Carrying out general manual handling duties
• Completing other workshop duties as required by the supervisor

Requirements

• Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, production, construction or similar hands-on environment is an advantage
• Comfortable carrying out physical and manual work
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable using tools and workshop equipment
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm
