Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Limerick
Pay Rate: €18.00-€20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary with a possibility of going permanent.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse in Limerick.

This role will involve supervising the warehouse team, coordinating daily workloads and ensuring goods are received, stored, prepared and dispatched safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a practical warehouse environment and leading by example.

A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, previous experience using warehouse or stock-management systems and a full clean Category B driving licence are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the warehouse team throughout daily operations.
• Allocate workloads and ensure daily priorities are completed efficiently.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely when required.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Coordinate the movement, storage and preparation of furniture, household contents and commercial goods.
• Use warehouse and stock-management systems to record incoming and outgoing goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Monitor stock locations and ensure goods are stored safely and correctly.
• Ensure orders and goods are prepared accurately for delivery, collection or storage.
• Support the training and induction of warehouse employees.
• Conduct regular checks to maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
• Ensure manual handling and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or operational issues.
• Liaise with drivers, removals teams and management regarding daily workloads and priorities.
• Occasionally assist with deliveries and collections when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory, team leader or senior warehouse position.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and practical operating experience.
• Full clean Irish driving licence, Category B.
• Previous experience using warehouse, inventory or stock-management systems.
• Strong computer skills and confidence maintaining accurate system records.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, removals or distribution experience.
• Ability to supervise, support and motivate a warehouse team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Physically capable of assisting with manual handling duties when required.
• A reliable, practical and hands-on approach.
