Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Based in Ballyboughal. Occasional travel to other company sites may be required to fulfill duties.
Working Hours: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Flexibility may be required to support business needs.

Pay: (€32,500 – €37,500) DOE

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team. This role involves handling goods in and out of the warehouse, including unloading deliveries, preparing orders for dispatch, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment. You will be an integral part of the day-to-day warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently load and unload trailers, ensuring documentation is completed accurately.
• Follow Good Distribution Practices (GDP) across all warehouse tasks.
• Scan and log incoming and outgoing goods using internal systems.
• Sort, check, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
• Match deliveries to relevant dockets and ensure order accuracy.
• Support general warehouse operations as needed by the Warehouse Manager.
• Assist with loading vehicles for delivery routes.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal applicant will possess the following:

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic inventory processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience working in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills and fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of delivery paperwork and dispatch procedures.
