Our client is currently seeking a talented and motivated VB.Net Developer to join their expanding IT team based in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing and growing their suite of software products and services. Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team and key business stakeholders to design, develop, and enhance software products.
• Leverage the latest technologies to build scalable and robust applications.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure optimal product performance and seamless integration with third-party systems used by the business.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve products and services.
• Carry out thorough testing and documentation of all developments.
• Perform other duties as required in line with business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on VB.Net.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with the building materials, retail industry, or similar sectors.
• Experience with web technologies.
• Report writing skills, particularly Crystal Reports.
• Knowledge of file exchange protocols (FTP/SFTP).
