Van Driver / Stores Person

We are seeking an temporary Van Driver / Stores Person for our clients busy Blackpool branch. This role primarily involves timely delivery of goods to their customers in Cork City and the surrounding areas. During periods without deliveries, supporting the team in the stores area will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations:

• Deliver products on time to customers in Cork city and nearby areas.
• Keep customers updated on order status and delivery schedules.
• Track orders to ensure accuracy and prompt delivery.

Stock Management:

• Unload deliveries and store stock in the correct locations.
• Report any damaged stock immediately.
• Keep the storage area clean and organised, ensuring walkways are clear.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in stock counts as required.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Essential Requirements:

Driving License: Full, clean, valid B driving license.

Experience:

• Previous experience in delivery driving.
• Experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Forklift operation experience with a valid license.
• Current manual handling certificate.
• Basic computer skills.
• Current Safe Pass Certification.
