Van Driver Portlaoise

FlexiStaff is recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver based in Portlaoise. This full-time position involves completing deliveries safely and efficiently, providing excellent customer service and taking responsibility for the day-to-day care of a company vehicle.

Role Details

* Pay: €14.15 per hour

* Daily lunch subsistence: €19.25

* Working pattern: 5 days rostered over 6

* Employment type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

* Complete scheduled deliveries safely and on time.

* Load and unload the van carefully and check goods against delivery paperwork.

* Provide a professional, friendly service to customers at every delivery point.

* Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using navigation systems when required.

* Complete delivery records and return all required paperwork accurately.

* Carry out basic daily vehicle checks and keep the van clean and organised.

* Follow road safety, manual handling and company procedures at all times.

Requirements

* A full, clean Category B driving licence.

* Previous van driving or delivery experience is desirable.

* Good knowledge of local routes and confidence using navigation systems.

* Strong timekeeping, reliability and customer service skills.

* Ability to carry out manual handling duties as part of the role.

* Good spoken and written English.
