Pay Rate: €15.00 – €16.00 per hour DOE

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Type: Mon – Fri: 7:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role

Our client, a well-established provider of household, commercial and international relocation services, is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver / Removals Operative to join their team based in the Limerick region.

This is a hands-on role combining professional driving duties with furniture removals, customer service and general logistics support. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of service while safely transporting customers’ belongings throughout Ireland and, on occasion, further afield.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive company vans to customer locations in line with scheduled routes.
• Load, unload and safely handle furniture, household goods and office equipment.
• Assist with packing, wrapping and securing items for transport.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on-site.
• Work as part of a removals team to complete residential and commercial moves.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Full Clean Irish Driving Licence (Category B).
• Previous van driving experience preferred.
• Experience in furniture removals, logistics, warehouse work or multi-drop delivery is advantageous.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting on a daily basis.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
• Own transport to and from the depot is advantageous.
