Transport Coordinator

Location: Co. Carlow
Salary: €36,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Our client is a well-established and growing transport company specialising in equine transport throughout Ireland and Europe. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to join their team and support the day-to-day running of transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate horse transport schedules across Ireland and Europe.
• Liaise with clients regarding bookings, collection and delivery times, and travel requirements.
• Work closely with drivers and internal team members to ensure efficient transport operations.
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and transport documentation.
• Provide general administrative support within the transport office.

Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Previous office, logistics, transport, or administration experience preferred.
• A genuine interest in horses and animal welfare.
