Supermarket Butcher

Location: Cork

Salary: €38K DOE

Flexistaff is recruiting for a Supermarket Butcher on behalf of our client, a hugely successful supermarket group in Cork. We are looking for someone with previous experience working on a busy butcher counter and strong knowledge of HACCP.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cut meat to customer specifications

· Maintain a clean, organised counter

· Display and present products attractively

· Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards

· Offer expert advice and product recommendations

· Manage stock levels and reduce waste

· Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

· Prior experience as a butcher in a busy setting

· Strong HACCP knowledge

· Excellent knife skills and understanding of meat cuts

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Team player
