Store Security Officer – Grocery Store, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick
Salary: €32,000 – €36,000 DOE
Full Time | 42 hours per week

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Store Security Officer to join our busy grocery store in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick.

About the Role:
The Security Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our staff, customers, and premises. You will work closely with the store management team to prevent theft, respond to incidents, and maintain a welcoming and safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor customer activity and identify potential security risks
• Act as a visible deterrent to shoplifters and disruptive behaviour
• Carry out regular security checks and patrols throughout the store
• Respond quickly and professionally to any incidents or emergencies
• Assist with investigations, report writing, and evidence gathering
• Support staff and management in enforcing store policies
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a retail or store security role is preferred
• Must hold a valid PSA Licence
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm under pressure with a professional approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends
