About the Role

Our client, a leading Irish DIY and Homeware retailer, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead their Tullamore store.

Known for exceptional customer service and a wide range of quality products, our client continues to grow and is looking for a motivated retail professional to drive store performance, develop their team, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times.
• Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering processes.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, merchandising, and store cleanliness.
• Plan and execute promotional activities and seasonal campaigns.

About You

• Previous retail management experience, ideally within DIY, homeware, hardware, or a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver results.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to working retail hours, including weekends.
• Passionate about delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
