Sous Chef – 4* Hotel

Flexistaff is recruiting on behalf of a client looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join a fast-paced kitchen team.
Main Duties:
· Assist in managing daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
· Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
· Develop and create menus that meet high standards of quality and innovation.
· Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
· Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in compliance with HACCP regulations.
· Monitor inventory, manage food costs, and ensure proper stock levels.
· Work closely with senior chefs to implement kitchen policies and procedures.
Requirements:
· Extensive experience in a busy kitchen environment.
· Proven track record of managing and leading a kitchen team.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Detail-oriented with a passion for maintaining high standards.
· Experience in menu creation and development.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
· Legal permission to work and reside in Ireland.
