Site Manager – Civils & Groundworks

Flexistaff is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on exciting upcoming projects across Dublin and surrounding areas.

This role would suit a strong Site Manager with solid experience across civils, groundworks, drainage and concrete packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and programme delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials
• Monitor progress against construction programmes
• Manage site safety, quality and environmental standards
• Review RAMS and relevant site documentation
• Complete site inductions and issue required permits
• Coordinate daily site activities and deliveries
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and quality
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards
• Ensure materials are ordered efficiently and stock levels are controlled
• Liaise with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and senior management
• Identify delays or concerns and escalate them promptly
• Drive efficiency and performance across site operations

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with a developer or Civil Engineering Contractor
• Strong civils, groundworks, drainage and concrete experience
• Trade background or construction-related degree
• Large-scale residential or commercial project experience desirable
• Strong Health & Safety and quality knowledge
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong planning and organisational ability
• Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and site teams
• Delivery-focused with high standards of workmanship
• Full Driving Licence

Working Hours

Site operating hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm
