Salary: €38,000 – €42,000 (DOE)

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Sales Order Processor to join their established team in Dublin 20.

Our Client is a leading supplier within the food production and meat processing sector. This role requires a candidate with previous experience in a similar food manufacturing, FMCG or meat industry environment. Industry experience is essential due to the fast-paced, high-volume and compliance-driven nature of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end sales order process for retail, wholesale and foodservice customers.
• Processing high volumes of daily orders accurately within tight deadlines.
• Liaising with production, planning and dispatch teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
• Coordinating closely with cold storage and distribution to manage delivery schedules.
• Monitoring stock levels and working with procurement to avoid shortages.
• Ensuring accurate product codes, weights, pricing and batch traceability.
• Managing customer queries, order amendments and credits efficiently.
• Supporting compliance with food safety, traceability and quality standards.
• Assisting with forecasting and reporting where required.
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Sales Order Processing role within the meat, food production, FMCG or related industry (essential).
• Strong understanding of stock control, batch tracking and production scheduling.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly with weights, pricing and traceability.
• Strong IT skills and experience using ERP systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with production, dispatch and commercial teams.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
