Sales Administrator

Location: Westport, Co. Mayo (Fully On-Site No Remote/Hybrid)
Salary: 30,000 – €32,000 (DOE)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently working on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected organisation within the workwear and PPE sector, to recruit an experienced Sales Administrator to join their busy Customer Service and Sales Support team based in Westport.

This is a fast-paced, office-based role suited to a motivated administrator who enjoys working in a commercial environment, supporting sales activity and delivering a high standard of customer service.

The Role

As Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function and acting as a point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for the accurate processing of orders, handling customer enquiries, and providing administrative support to the field sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer orders accurately through the ERP system
  • Handling inbound customer calls and managing queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Preparing and issuing customer quotations
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Field Sales team
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting general sales administration as required

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales administration or similar busy office environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous experience using an ERP system is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
