Job Title: Road Freight Coordinator
Location: Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm (with occasional 11am–8pm shifts to cover holidays or training)
Company: Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain company
Transport: Own transport is essential due to the location of the role

About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking a Road Freight Coordinator to join their team in North County Dublin. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to build a long-term career in logistics. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain key customer accounts

• Build and develop strong relationships with customers and service partners

• Handle queries and provide professional customer service

• Communicate effectively with suppliers, customs, and transport partners

• Issue quotes and convert them into bookings

• Apply agreed rates and ensure cost-effective planning

• Plan trailer loads and coordinate with hauliers and depots

• Complete import/export customs declarations and documentation

• Provide general administrative support as required

• Support colleagues across other departments and locations

• Maintain high service standards and suggest improvements

Requirements:

• Experience in logistics, freight, or a similar customer-facing environment

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team

• Road freight and customs experience is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines

• Own vehicle is required to travel to and from the site
