Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: The Burren, Co. Clare
Salary: €40,000-€44,000 DOE
Our client is hiring an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the restaurant and wine service operations at a renowned country house hotel in the heart of The Burren.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, excellent wine knowledge, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop the front-of-house team.
- Deliver outstanding restaurant and wine service.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and management team.
- Manage reservations, staffing, guest relations, budgets, and stock.
- Oversee the wine programme, including cellar management, supplier relationships, staff training, and guest wine pairings.
- Maintain the highest standards of service, food safety, and operational excellence.
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a senior hospitality leadership role.
- Strong wine knowledge and experience with wine service and food pairing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Financial awareness and a hands-on approach.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Desirable: WSET Level 2/3, experience in luxury hotels, fine dining or Michelin-recognised restaurants, and knowledge of reservation/POS systems.
