Restaurant Manager – Donegal – Prestigious Golf Club
Our client, a prestigious and long-established golf club in Donegal, is currently recruiting a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead their front-of-house operations. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee a high-quality Food & Beverage offering in a professional and welcoming environment.
The successful Restaurant Manager will ensure smooth daily operations, outstanding guest experiences, and a high-performing team, while meeting service and budget goals.

Contract: Full-time, permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations to deliver a consistent, premium service
- Ensure high customer service standards across all F&B activities
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus based on quality, seasonality, and member feedback
- Drive F&B sales through strategic menu planning and upselling
- Lead and train front-of-house staff to uphold service excellence
- Foster a supportive, well-trained team environment with ongoing development
- Maintain full compliance with HACCP and health & safety regulations
- Resolve customer issues professionally and promptly
- Manage inventory and stock levels to meet service demands and reduce waste
- Monitor staffing and operational costs to meet budgetary targets
- Prepare regular reports on sales, stock, and team performance
- Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure efficient service
- Support events and functions to meet expected food and service quality
- Manage POS and reservation systems accurately
- Identify service improvements and operational efficiencies
Candidate Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage or hospitality leadership role
- Strong understanding of hospitality service, menu development, and F&B trends
- HACCP certification or equivalent food safety training preferred
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Budget management and cost control experience
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service
- Highly organised with strong communication abilities
