Restaurant Manager – Donegal – Prestigious Golf Club

Our client, a prestigious and long-established golf club in Donegal, is currently recruiting a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead their front-of-house operations. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee a high-quality Food & Beverage offering in a professional and welcoming environment.

The successful Restaurant Manager will ensure smooth daily operations, outstanding guest experiences, and a high-performing team, while meeting service and budget goals.

Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: Donegal
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations to deliver a consistent, premium service
  • Ensure high customer service standards across all F&B activities
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus based on quality, seasonality, and member feedback
  • Drive F&B sales through strategic menu planning and upselling
  • Lead and train front-of-house staff to uphold service excellence
  • Foster a supportive, well-trained team environment with ongoing development
  • Maintain full compliance with HACCP and health & safety regulations
  • Resolve customer issues professionally and promptly
  • Manage inventory and stock levels to meet service demands and reduce waste
  • Monitor staffing and operational costs to meet budgetary targets
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, stock, and team performance
  • Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure efficient service
  • Support events and functions to meet expected food and service quality
  • Manage POS and reservation systems accurately
  • Identify service improvements and operational efficiencies

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage or hospitality leadership role
  • Strong understanding of hospitality service, menu development, and F&B trends
  • HACCP certification or equivalent food safety training preferred
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Budget management and cost control experience
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Highly organised with strong communication abilities
