Restaurant Manager – Prestigious Golf Club – North Dublin

A well-established and prestigious golf club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead its front-of-house operations and oversee the delivery of a high-quality Food & Beverage (F&B) offering. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient daily operations, and the development of a professional, service-driven team, while meeting revenue and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and high-end experience for all members and guests.
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of customer service across all F&B services.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to shape and evolve food and beverage menus, with a focus on quality, seasonality, and member preferences.
  • Drive F&B sales through strategic menu presentation, upselling, and promotional initiatives.
  • Inspire, train, and lead the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service and maintain uniform service standards.
  • Promote a positive and productive team environment, with regular refresher training sessions and development opportunities.
  • Uphold the highest hygiene and health & safety standards in accordance with HACCP regulations.
  • Proactively resolve customer concerns or complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory to support service needs while minimising waste and loss.
  • Monitor and control staffing and operational costs to align with budgeted targets.
  • Produce regular reports on F&B revenue, stock, and service performance.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service for daily dining and special events.
  • Support the planning and delivery of events and functions, ensuring food and service quality meet expectations.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in the use of POS and booking systems, and report any issues promptly.
  • Identify and implement ongoing improvements to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Food & Beverage management.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality service, menu planning, and current food and drink trends.
  • HACCP certification or equivalent food safety training is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability.
  • Passion for exceptional service and the creation of memorable dining experiences.
  • Experience in staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
