Restaurant Manager – Prestigious Golf Club
A well-established golf club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the customer-facing areas and office administration of its restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth operations, and achieving revenue and efficiency targets while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the club‘s Operations Manager.
- Ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for all guests.
- Maintain consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and productive team culture.
- Train staff to uphold uniform service standards and conduct regular refresher sessions.
- Ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Handle customer complaints effectively and escalate where necessary.
- Work closely with department managers to ensure smooth coordination.
- Ensure all service items and consumables meet the highest standards.
- Manage stock levels, including ordering and replenishment.
- Balance budget expenditure against revenue.
- Manage staffing costs within pre-agreed budgets.
- Maximise all revenue streams using strategic selling techniques to achieve agreed gross profit targets.
- Minimise stock waste and losses through monthly stock takes.
- Develop and review annual and monthly plans in collaboration with the Operations Manager and Head Chef.
- Provide weekly revenue reports to the Operations Manager.
- Attend weekly HOD meetings to plan restaurant and kitchen operations at least 7-10 days in advance.
- Identify, correct, and report POS system anomalies in a timely manner.
- Implement staff and member policies as directed by the line manager.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements across all operational areas.
Experience & Skills Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Food & Beverage management or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP certification preferred).
- Proven leadership and team motivation abilities.
- Experience in staff training and development.
- Competence in budgeting and cost control.
