Contract Type: Full-time

Our client is a well-established leader in infrastructure and specialist road maintenance services across Ireland. Operating from 14 sites nationwide, they are seeking a dedicated Plant Operator to join their manufacturing facility in Bluebell, Dublin.

About the Role

The Plant Operator will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of production operations while ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently met.

Key Duties

• Operate automated and manual production systems safely and efficiently
• Monitor product quality and maintain consistent output
• Carry out machinery setup, routine operation, and basic maintenance
• Ensure all safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental standards are followed
• Assist with raw material stock control and product packaging
• Offload bitumen in a safe and controlled manner
• Maintain clean and organised work areas
• Report faults or malfunctions to maintenance teams promptly
• Support new staff training and process improvements
• Complete production reports and contribute to team meetings
• Participate in safety drills, incident reporting, and audits
• Support excellent customer service and internal communication

Skills & Requirements

• Mechanical or electrical qualifications (desirable)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift and/or Teleporter Licence, Safe Pass (required)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Comfortable working independently and meeting targets
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
