Parts Department Advisor / Warehouse Operative
Roscommon

Salary: €32,000 – €40,000 depending on experience

Flexistaff is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established commercial vehicle distributor, for a Parts Department Advisor / Warehouse Operative to join their team based in Roscommon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse or parts experience, particularly within the automotive or commercial vehicle sector, who is looking to develop their career within a busy and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and organise parts for workshop technicians and retail customers.
• Pick, pack, and process orders accurately for dealer and customer requirements.
• Handle incoming phone enquiries from retail customers and assist with parts queries.
• Order and maintain stock levels where required.
• Manage goods-in processes, including checking and storing spare parts.
• Carry out inventory counts and assist with stock control procedures.
• Process spare parts returns and service exchange parts.
• Support general warehouse operations and maintain an organised workspace.

Requirements

• Good level of PC literacy.
• Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
• Driving licence and forklift licence would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in parts, warehouse, automotive or commercial vehicle environments would be beneficial but is not essential.

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 5:45pm
• Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
