Night Manager – €37,000 per annum

Flexistaff is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Night Manager to join a busy and well-established 4-star hotel in North County Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with previous hotel management experience who is looking to progress their career within a dynamic hotel environment.

Working Hours

• Full-time permanent position
• Average of 45 hours per week
• 4 nights over 7
• Shift pattern: 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Weekend and public holiday work required

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the hotel during overnight operations following handover from the Duty Manager.
• Oversee guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
• Carry out reception and front office duties.
• Perform general porter duties as required.
• Coordinate conference and function room set-ups.
• Assist with food and beverage operations when required.
• Ensure housekeeping and cleaning standards are maintained overnight.
• Supervise and coordinate staff on duty.
• Respond efficiently to guest queries and requests.
• Conduct Health & Safety and security checks throughout the property.
• Ensure all hotel procedures and policies are followed during the night shift.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Night Manager within a 3-star or 4-star hotel.
• Previous experience using hotel front office systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and fire safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Occupational First Aid certification is advantageous but not essential.
