Machine Operator

Job Title: Plant Operator (Batching Plant)
Location: County Kildare
Pay Rate: €17-€18 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

Our client in County Kildare is seeking a Plant Operator to support daily activities at their batching plant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is open to learning on the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support the batching plant machinery
• Ensure safe and efficient handling and storage of materials within the yard
• Maintain a clean and well-organised work area at all times
• Follow strict health and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets

Key Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential
• Willingness to work long hours with flexibility around scheduling
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing responsibilities
• Computer literacy is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Flexibility required depending on workload and production needs

Training

Full intensive training will be provided to operate batching plant machinery, so prior experience is not essential.
