Logistics Administrator

Location: Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 6:00pm
(11:00am 8:00pm cover may be required for holidays and training. Flexibility is essential to meet business needs.)

Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a Logistics Administrator in North County Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics and supply chain environment. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, with strong opportunities for career development and progression within a global organisation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring KPIs and service standards are met
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with existing and new customers to support retention and growth
  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries, providing professional and timely responses
  • Liaise proactively with customers, suppliers, hauliers, and internal partners to ensure a high level of service delivery
  • Prepare customer quotations and convert approved quotes into bookings
  • Apply and maintain agreed customer rates accurately within systems
  • Support trailer planning and liaise with hauliers and depots to optimise load planning and trailer utilisation
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance customer service and operational efficiency
  • Support colleagues across departments and offices, both nationally and internationally
  • Maintain accurate records and complete general administrative and office duties as required
  • Take a flexible, hands-on approach to managing priorities and meeting deadlines

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a logistics, transport, or customer-facing administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take ownership of tasks
  • Experience in road freight and customs is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Confident communicator via email and telephone
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
