Flexistaff Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a busy and well-established bar and restaurant in Bundoran, Co. Donegal, for a Junior Chef.

Our client is known for providing quality food and excellent customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. They are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Chef to join their kitchen team and support the delivery of high-quality dishes during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking to a high standard.
• Support senior chefs with daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Follow HACCP procedures and kitchen health & safety standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, storage, and kitchen organisation.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Support the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Help maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or chef experience is preferred.
• A genuine interest in food and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is an advantage.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods as required.
