Hotel Reservation Agent – Dunaree, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan

Full-time, Permanent | €18 per hour
Reports To: Reservations Manager / Front Office Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Hotel Reservation Agent to join their professional team on-site in Dunaree, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-end hospitality environment where exceptional service and attention to detail are key.

The Role

As a core member of the reservations team, you’ll handle guest bookings efficiently, provide accurate information, and ensure all guest requirements are clearly communicated across departments. The ideal candidate will contribute to maximising occupancy, delivering a seamless guest experience, and supporting overall hotel performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage guest reservations via telephone, email, and online booking platforms
• Provide accurate information on room types, rates, availability, and facilities
• Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries and special requests
• Update the reservation system with guest details and confirmations
• Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other teams to ensure smooth coordination
• Monitor booking trends to help optimise occupancy and revenue
• Maintain clear records of bookings, amendments, and cancellations
• Support management with daily and weekly occupancy reporting

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hotel reservations, front office, or a similar role
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Strong IT skills; experience with Guestline or similar systems preferred
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational ability
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude
