Head of Business Operations – Ireland
Dublin | €90,000 – €100,000 + Company Vehicle + Executive Benefits
FlexiStaff Recruitment are delighted to partner with a confidential client in the appointment of a Head of Business Operations for their Irish operation.
Due to continued growth and expansion across the business, this is a newly created leadership role and a significant appointment within the organisation. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational performance, commercial improvement, team engagement, and long-term business growth across Ireland.
This position is ideally suited to a commercially minded operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys challenging the status quo, and can identify smarter, more efficient ways of working while bringing teams on the journey.
The successful candidate will oversee multi-functional teams across warehousing, field operations, technical teams, and office-based support functions nationwide. Strong leadership capability is essential, along with the ability to influence, improve performance, and create accountability while maintaining a positive and supportive culture.
This is not a role for someone who leads purely from behind a desk. The business is seeking a visible, hands-on leader who can build credibility with teams, ask the right questions, analyse operations commercially, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the organisation.
The Role:
* Lead end-to-end operational performance across multiple business functions nationwide
* Drive efficiencies, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives
* Challenge existing processes and implement smarter ways of working
* Partner closely with senior leadership to support strategic growth plans
* Lead and mentor established management teams while maintaining strong visibility across operations
* Analyse operational and commercial performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvement areas
* Build strong cross-functional communication between operational, technical, and support teams
* Ensure high standards across service delivery, compliance, customer experience, and team performance
* Create a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
* Support long-term succession planning and business scalability
The Person:
* Extensive senior operations leadership experience within a complex, multi-site environment
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to connect operational performance to business outcomes
* Proven experience leading large and diverse teams across operations, technical, warehouse, service, or support functions
* Hands-on leadership style with the ability to gain buy-in and build strong relationships across all levels
* Highly analytical, solutions-driven, and operationally focused
* Confident making decisions, challenging processes, and implementing change positively
* Excellent people management and communication skills
* Strong understanding of operational KPIs, efficiencies, labour planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Experience within healthcare, logistics, technical services, supply chain, industrial, manufacturing, or service-led environments would be advantageous
What’s on Offer:
* Senior leadership opportunity within a growing and evolving organisation
* Newly created role due to continued business growth
* Clear progression pathway toward future General Management leadership
* Competitive salary package of €90,000 – €100,000
* Company vehicle / executive vehicle package
* Opportunity to shape operational strategy and long-term business success
Due to the confidential nature of this appointment, further information will be discussed directly with shortlisted candidates.
