General Operative / Dispatch Operative

Location: Galway
Hourly Rate: €14.50 – €15.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Role

Flexistaff Recruitment is currently recruiting for a General Operative / Dispatch Operative on behalf of our client based in Galway.

The position will primarily involve order picking, preparing goods for dispatch and general warehouse duties. We are looking for someone reliable, organised and comfortable working in a busy working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking orders accurately
• Preparing and packing orders for dispatch
• Checking goods prior to dispatch
• Assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Organising stock and goods
• General warehouse duties
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Following health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous picking, dispatch, warehouse or general operative experience is desirable
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy environment

Salary & Benefits

• €14.50 – €15.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Strong applicants with relevant experience may be considered at a higher rate
• Company pension plan of 1.5%, with the option to increase to 3% following probation
• Vhi Healthcare plan following probation
• Permanent, full-time position
• Monday to Friday working hours
