Job Title: General Operative – Yard & Store Staff

Rate of Pay: €13.50 per hour
Reports To: Store Manager & Assistant Store Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a General Operative – Yard & Store Staff member to join our team in Dundalk. This role involves supporting the day-to-day running of our yard and store–handling stock, assisting customers, and working alongside our delivery drivers. You’ll also work with power tools and warehouse equipment, including forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection (loading, wrapping, labelling).
• Receive and store stock items in an organised and timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-structured working area.
• Support drivers with collections and offloading deliveries.
• Operate power tools and warehouse machinery (forklift licence required).
• Report discrepancies and follow health & safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or yard experience is beneficial.
• Must hold a valid forklift licence.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Comfortable using warehouse systems and databases (training provided).
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work in a team.
