General Operative

Job Title: Temporary Warehouse Operative
Location: Athlone, Ireland
Hourly Rate: €14.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary – with potential to become permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
Shift: 6:00am–2:30pm (Mon–Thurs) / 6:00am–1:30pm (Fri)
or
7:30am–4:00pm (Mon–Thurs) / 7:30am–3:00pm (Fri)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading supplier of heating, plumbing, and renewable energy solutions in Ireland, for a Temporary Warehouse Operative to join their central distribution centre in Athlone.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and respected organisation during a busy period. While initially a temporary position, there is strong potential for the role to become permanent depending on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and processing inbound deliveries (Goods In).
• Unloading, sorting, and storing stock safely and accurately.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting other warehouse functions as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual work.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
