We are currently recruiting an experienced and hands-on General Maintenance Person for a busy retail premises in Balbriggan.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong general maintenance background who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and can confidently manage day-to-day repairs and upkeep across a busy site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the premises
• Complete basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating tasks
• Carry out minor repairs to fixtures, fittings, doors and equipment
• Identify maintenance issues and ensure they are dealt with promptly
• Complete routine checks around the building and external areas
• Support the upkeep of storage, staff and customer areas
• Liaise with external contractors when specialist work is required
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-presented environment
• Respond to maintenance issues as they arise
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures

What We‘re Looking For

• Previous experience in a general maintenance, handyman or facilities role
• Good practical knowledge across a variety of maintenance tasks
• Comfortable carrying out basic repairs independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable, organised and proactive
• Good communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
• A strong awareness of health and safety
