Fresh Food Manager – Cork (Glanmire & Grange)
Salary: €40,000 – €47,000 DOE
Full Time | Permanent
We are currently seeking two experienced Fresh Food Managers to join our teams – one based in Glanmire and one based in Grange, Co. Cork.
About the Role:
As a Fresh Food Manager, you will oversee all fresh food departments including deli, bakery, and produce. You will ensure the highest standards of quality, customer service, and compliance, while leading and developing your team to drive sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the fresh food departments
- Deliver excellence in product availability, presentation, and customer experience
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations
- Lead, train, and motivate the fresh food team
- Manage stock ordering, wastage control, and merchandising
- Plan and implement promotional activities and seasonal campaigns
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fresh food management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- A passion for fresh food and exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
