Checkout Department Location: Cork Salary: €38K DOE

Are you an experienced leader in retail, ready for a new challenge? Flexistaff is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading supermarket group, for a Checkout Manager in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong management skills to lead a busy checkout team, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the checkout area

· Lead, train, and motivate the checkout team to provide exceptional customer service

· Ensure tills are operated efficiently and customers are served promptly

· Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively

· Maintain compliance with cash-handling and security procedures

· Prepare staff rotas and manage shift schedules

· Monitor stock levels for checkout supplies and assist with inventory management

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within retail

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Excellent communication and organizational abilities

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Customer-focused with a passion for delivering top-notch service

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
