Pay: 17-18 per hour
Flexistaff Recruitment is hiring a Deli Manager on behalf of a well-established retail food business in Bishopstown. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people management skills who is passionate about food, customer service, and developing both their team and the deli operation on site.
The Role
Manage the day-to-day operation of a busy deli
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of deli staff
Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
Plan rotas and manage staffing levels effectively
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and Health & Safety standards
Control stock levels, ordering, waste, and margins
Drive sales growth and continuous improvement within the deli
Train and support staff to grow skills and performance
Ensure compliance with all operational and food safety requirements
Key Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a deli, food service, or similar environment
Strong people management and team leadership skills
Passion for food quality and customer experience
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Organised with good attention to detail
Motivated individual who wants to grow and progress in the role
Positive, hands-on approach with strong communication skills
