Chef de Partie

Location: Trim, Co. Meath
Salary: €16.50 – €17.00 per hour
Hours: 6:00am – 3:00pm

We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie for a well-established catering and hospitality operation based in the Trim area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef seeking a daytime position with consistent hours, a supportive kitchen environment, and opportunities to contribute to menu development and kitchen operations.

Due to the early start time, applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance of Trim or have their own transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and receiving deliveries
• Monitor portion control and help minimise food waste
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance
• Keep kitchen areas, equipment, and storage facilities clean and organised
• Assist with menu planning, daily specials, and new dish development
• Support the delivery of catering functions, events, and banquets
• Work closely with front-of-house and catering teams to ensure smooth service

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to progress
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for quality food
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
• Excellent organisational and teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
• Must be based in or near Trim, Navan, Athboy, Summerhill, Longwood, Kildalkey, or surrounding areas
