Checkout Supervisor

Location: Cork

Salary: €15 per hour DOE

About the Role: Do you have experience in retail and are ready to step up into a leadership role? Flexistaff is hiring a Checkout Supervisor on behalf of our client, a well-known supermarket group in Cork. This role is perfect for someone looking to take on more responsibility and help drive a high-performing team at the front end of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise daily operations of the checkout area to ensure smooth, efficient service

· Support and guide checkout staff, providing training and motivation

· Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional manner

· Ensure compliance with cash-handling and checkout procedures

· Assist in creating staff rotas and managing shift coverage

· Monitor till operations, stock checkout supplies, and maintain a clean, organised work area

Requirements:

· Experience working in retail, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role

· Strong organisational and leadership skills

· Excellent communication and customer service abilities

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
