C Licensed Driver – 16 Tonne Rigid Truck | South Dublin

€45,000 + €18 per day subsistence

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing organisation within the distribution sector, for an experienced C Licensed Driver to join their team in South Dublin.

This is a great opportunity for a professional driver looking for a stable, Monday to Friday role with strong earning potential and long-term prospects.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering goods across Dublin and the wider Leinster region using a 16-tonne rigid truck, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high customer service standard.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries across Dublin and Leinster
• Safely operate a 16 tonne rigid truck in line with all road safety regulations
• Complete all deliveries accurately and within scheduled timeframes
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all delivery points
• Maintain delivery records via handheld/ePOD systems
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Work closely with transport and operations teams to meet delivery targets

Requirements

Essential

• Full, clean Category C driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience driving rigid trucks (ideally 16 tonne)
• Good knowledge of Dublin and Leinster road networks
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable

• Multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience using handheld delivery systems

Additional Information

• This role involves manual handling and some heavy lifting
• Manual handling training will be provided
