Location: Monasterevin, Co. Kildare (Near Junction 14 Mayfield)
Salary: €38k + Bonus(€3k)

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a busy fast-food outlet located near Junction 14 Mayfield in Monasterevin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality or food service professional looking to take the next step in their management career within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Working alongside the Department Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team, driving sales, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of the fast-food operation, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with staff training, ensuring compliance with HACCP, food safety, and company procedures.
• Manage staff rosters and support people management activities.
• Monitor sales performance, margins, stock control, and waste management.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales and operational efficiency.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.
• Oversee stock ordering and inventory management.
• Support the achievement of departmental targets and business objectives.

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within a fast-paced food service, hospitality, or fast-food environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Commercially aware with a good understanding of sales, margins, and business performance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work on your own initiative.
• Positive attitude with a strong attention to detail.
• A team player who can lead by example and inspire others.
