Join a leading Irish DIY/Homeware retailer as an Assistant Manager in the Leinster region!
Our client is a home-grown brand renowned for outstanding customer service and a wide selection of high-quality products. As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a motivated individuals to support their store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and ensure the smooth running of the store.
- Supervise staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Manage inventory, including stock control and ordering.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle any issues or complaints effectively.
- Implement and maintain store policies, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving sales targets.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the store.
- Plan and execute promotional activities to drive sales.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
