Artic Driver – Temporary

Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin
Pay Rate: €19.00 per hour
Overtime: Time and a half after 9 hours
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Flexistaff Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Artic Driver for a temporary full-time position based out of a busy depot in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

The successful driver will be responsible for nationwide deliveries using a curtain-side trailer. This position would suit an experienced Artic Driver who is confident with nationwide routes and comfortable working varying start and finish times depending on the delivery schedule.

Working Hours

• Start times vary between 5:00am, 6:00am and 7:00am depending on the journey
• Typical finish time is approximately 5:00pm, depending on the route
• €19.00 per hour
• Time and a half paid after 9 working hours
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Key Duties

• Carry out nationwide deliveries from the Blanchardstown depot
• Drive an articulated vehicle with a curtain-side trailer
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Complete all necessary delivery documentation
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Follow road safety, working time and company procedures
• Maintain a professional manner when dealing with customers and depot staff

Requirements

• Full C+E driving licence
• Minimum of 3 years‘ Artic driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of Dublin and nationwide routes
• Previous curtain-side experience is desirable
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable with early morning starts
