Location: Tullamore, Offaly
Position Type: Full-Time, Office-Based
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: €30,000- 35,000 per annum DOE
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of their financial processes and maintaining strong relationships with their customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and perform credit checks
- Handle basic filing and administrative tasks
- Contact customers regarding account queries and outstanding payments
- Answer incoming calls and address customer inquiries
- Allocate payments accurately
- Match orders to purchase orders (POs)
- Coordinate with drivers at the end of the day to ensure all delivery documents are accounted for
- Generate end-of-month financial reports
- Enter payments into the accounting system

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to Work Independently
- Punctual and Reliable
