Accounts Administrator

Location: Co. Carlow
Salary: 35,000+ DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00am 5:30pm

Our client, a highly respected and world-class logistics operation within the equine sector, is currently seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their busy and fast-paced office team.

This role will support the day-to-day finance and administration function of the business, working closely with management and operations teams to ensure accurate financial processing and smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices and supplier statements
  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliations and general finance administration
  • Assisting with VAT returns and financial reporting support
  • Maintaining accurate financial and office records
  • Supporting payroll and general administration duties
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients professionally
  • Assisting the wider office team with ad hoc administration duties

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an accounts administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting systems
  • Experience supporting VAT and finance administration duties
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities
