HGV Driver – Ashbourne, Co. Meath

Pay Rate: €17.00 – €20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Early morning starts between 3:00am and 4:00am with the advantage of early finishes

The Opportunity

Flexistaff is currently seeking an experienced and dependable HGV Driver for a client based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. This role is well suited to candidates who enjoy starting work early and value having the remainder of their day free after completing their shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure goods are transported safely and arrive at their destination in excellent condition
• Conduct daily vehicle checks before and after routes, reporting any defects or maintenance issues
• Load, secure and transport goods in line with company and safety procedures
• Comply with road traffic legislation and company policies at all times
• Provide a professional and courteous service when dealing with customers and site personnel

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV licence with an up-to-date CPC certification
• Previous experience driving HGV vehicles
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance on the road
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of managing early morning start times
• Physically fit and comfortable with loading/unloading duties where required
• Flexible approach to work and scheduling
