Business Unit Manager –
Operations & Healthcare, Supply chain
Location: Dublin
Salary : €90,000 – €100,000
Overview
Flexistaff are partnering with a well-established organisation within the healthcare supply chain sector to appoint a Business Unit Manager in Dublin.
This is a newly created leadership role as part of a wider operational restructure, offering a fantastic opportunity to shape, lead, and optimise end-to-end operations across multiple functions.
You will take full ownership of operational performance, leading teams across warehouse, customer service, and field operations, with a strong focus on efficiency, service delivery, and continuous improvement.
The Role
This is a senior leadership position where you will:
- Lead and develop multi-functional teams across operations, customer service, and field-based staff
- Drive operational performance through strong KPI management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and implement efficiencies across the supply chain to enhance service delivery and reduce cost
- Oversee inventory, logistics, and service operations to ensure a seamless end-to-end process
- Build a high-performance culture with a strong focus on accountability, engagement, and development
- Work closely with senior leadership to align operational strategy with overall business goals
This role requires a balance of hands-on leadership and strategic thinking, with the ability to influence at all levels.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years’ experience in operations or supply chain leadership, ideally within healthcare or a regulated environment
- Proven experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams (including remote or field-based staff)
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets or P&L responsibility
- Data-driven mindset with a track record of improving performance through KPIs and process optimisation
- Strong systems knowledge (ERP/CRM/WMS) and operational reporting
- A confident communicator who can engage both senior stakeholders and frontline teams
