Sales Representative – South Dublin
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected company within the building materials and construction supply sector, for a Sales Representative to join their team in South Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in developing customer relationships and driving new business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Branch Manager and wider sales team to grow sales, manage customer accounts and identify new opportunities across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities through lead generation and relationship development
- Develop strong working relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers to maximise sales opportunities
- Manage key customer accounts and maintain accurate sales records and information
- Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve issues while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders, quotations and deliveries are processed efficiently
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to management outlining sales activity and performance in the region
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets
- Strong interest in the construction, building materials or merchanting sector
- Experience within a builders’ merchants or construction environment would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
