Aviation Stores & Logistics Technician – Dublin Airport Area
Location: Dublin Airport Area
Hours: Monday to Friday | Daytime hours (non-shift)

Our client, a global aviation engine support company, is currently seeking an Aviation Stores & Logistics Technician to join their Dublin-based operation. Operating across Ireland, the UK, and the US, the company provides specialist support for a wide range of commercial aircraft engines, including repairs, lease return inspections, storage solutions, and 24/7 AOG support across Europe.
This is a hands-on, workshop-based role ideally suited to someone with experience in aviation stores, aircraft parts handling, tooling, or logistics who enjoys working in a technical, regulated environment supporting aircraft engine maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Lead, you will provide critical stores and logistics support within the engine maintenance facility, ensuring full compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations.
Key duties include:
- Managing the storage, movement, and control of aircraft materials, tooling, and components
- Sourcing and procuring materials for engine types including CFM56, CF6-80, V2500, PW2000/4000, and RB211
- Receiving, inspecting, and booking in goods in accordance with EASA standards
- Maintaining accurate stock control using the Quantum ERP system
- Coordinating domestic and international shipments, including Dangerous Goods consignments
- Issuing and returning tooling and equipment to engine maintenance teams
- Managing calibration schedules and load testing for workshop tools
- Liaising with external repair shops for component overhaul and repair
- Preparing and processing purchase orders and repair orders
- Acting as Site Health & Safety Coordinator, ensuring safe working practices
- Maintaining a clean, organised stores and workshop environment
- Assisting with the shipment and receipt of engines and materials between Dublin and Shannon facilities
Requirements
- Certificate-level qualification in a relevant discipline or minimum 2 years‘ experience in aviation stores, logistics, or aircraft parts handling
- Strong understanding of EASA Part-145 requirements for aircraft parts handling and storage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full, clean driving licence
Desirable:
- Forklift licence
- Dangerous Goods training
- Previous experience purchasing or handling aircraft materials
