Duty Manager – Busy Gastropub

€35,000 per annum (DOE)
Full-Time, Permanent Contract
⏰ 40 hours per week | 5 days out of 7
Some late evenings required, including weekends

About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Duty Manager to join the management team of a busy, well-established gastropub in Stillorgan. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys leading a team while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the gastropub during assigned shifts
• Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house staff
• Ensure high standards of customer service at all times
• Manage staff rotas, breaks, and shift coverage
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and licensing regulations
• Cash handling, opening and closing procedures
• Work closely with senior management to support smooth operations

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager or Supervisor role within a busy pub, restaurant, or hospitality setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
• A hands-on, proactive approach to management
• Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends and late evenings
• Passion for hospitality and delivering great guest experiences
