Experienced Mechanic – Dublin 12

Salary: €45,000-€50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (Saturday overtime available)

About the Role:
We‘re looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our busy workshop in Dublin 12. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional seeking a long-term role with a respected employer.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities, with proven experience in gearbox stripping, repairs, and fault finding. You‘ll take pride in delivering top-quality workmanship and maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and perform accurate repairs using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strip and rebuild gearboxes and engines as required.
• Conduct pre-NCT checks and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Keep detailed service records and complete all jobs efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years‘ experience as a qualified mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Proven experience with gearbox stripping and rebuilding.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
