Leisure & Events Assistant Manager – Dublin 15

Salary: €33,000 – €35,000 per annum (DOE)

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leisure and Events Assistant Manager to join a busy, high-energy leisure and entertainment venue based in Dublin 15.

About the Role

The Leisure and Events Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable experience.
You’ll help drive event coordination, customer satisfaction, and team performance, while maintaining the highest operational standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in the smooth delivery of daily venue operations.

  • Oversee and coordinate group bookings, corporate events, and private functions.

  • Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Manage cash handling, end-of-day reporting, and assist with payroll administration.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.

  • Support stock management, ordering, and supplier relationships.

  • Respond professionally to guest queries and feedback.

  • Contribute to a positive, engaging, and team-focused work environment.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ supervisory or management experience in hospitality, leisure, or entertainment.

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

  • Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.

  • Flexible availability – including evenings, weekends, and event schedules.

  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences.

  • An interest in sports, golf, or leisure activities is an advantage.
